Something about us
My name is Mike - and the first time I tried Mike's Hot Honey (no relation), I was personally offended that something with my name on it tasted so bland. So I decided to make my own - my pizza deserved better.
The honey came out great… but then I was left staring at a jar of honey-soaked peppers. Throw them out? Absolutely not - we don’t waste food in this house. So I blended them into a hot sauce, named it La Chancla, and shared them with my friends.
The honey got everyone’s attention.
La Chancla kept it.
Soon enough, people were asking for more - which meant making micro-batches of honey, blending up sauces, infusing agave, and whatever else came from the question:
“Okay… but what if I made it hot?”
Craft Punk tends to start where existing flavors give up. My Spicy Agave came to life after yet another “spicy” margarita got wrecked by a bartender pulverizing peppers straight into the glass. I caved, made my own, fixed the drink - and pretty soon, my friends were clamoring for that too.
That’s how Craft Punk came to life - born from necessity, curiosity, and a determination to craft something worthy of a Paul Hollywood handshake. The spirit behind La Chancla still runs through everything I make today, from Tropical Love to every new experiment cooling on my counter.
Most of what I create sits in the sweet spot of bold flavor and lively heat - approachable for flavor lovers, heat chasers, and pepperheads alike. But if you are the kind of person who likes things a bit more unhinged, click here for the extreme stuff.
Craft Punk exists for people who know their food deserves better — something that hits hotter, better, faster, stronger.
